Just switched packages to plusnet value

I was on a legacy package, paying around £18 per month for download of something like 7GB per month.
Those good guys at Customer Services recommended I switch to plusnet value. I was informed it was basically the same package.
Slight variation in download speeds and times
Couple of questions.
I normally use the 'maximum Broadband Usage' as an indicator 'to stop work' for the month
Where do I set my max-download-for-the-month? (not based on price).
I assume (although I've not been able to locate the details), that once I reach my maximum I'm throttled back to 128kbps?
can somebody point out the links for me.

Re: Just switched packages to plusnet value

Hi there,
You can only set a limit  based on price, rather than on usage allowance.
You can do this here: https://portal.plus.net/data_transfer_watch/
You can set this at your subscription price, so that once you've used your included usage you'd be restricted (currently this blocks all usage, rather than throttling).
