Just moved house and done some looking into speeds etc, here is what I have.
DSL connection rate 8128 Mbps
Range 0.6 Mbps -7.15 Mbps
IP profile 7.15 Mbps
Line Attenuation 26 db
Noise margin 10db
Having run BT speedtest gives a download rate of 6.6 Mbps.
I think that sounds about ok, any opinions?

Rather looks like you are on ADSL(1) over 20CN and are running at the top end of that service's ability.
Check here - http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/adslchecker.php - to see if 21CN is available on your exchange.

Thanks for that, Kitz reports adsl- adsl max enabled. But 21cn wbc (broadband) not available, 21cn due (pstn) no info. At least I now know where I'm at

I'm afraid this is the best you'll get until new technology comes along.

No worries, much better than the 1 Mbps downloads that I got before I moved!
