Re: Job Cancelled due to "Head End Issue" ???

The fibre connection seems to be working fine this AM.
There is just the matter of the missed appointment by Openreach from last Wednesday. Plusnet / Openreach would be quick enough to charge £50 if I did not open the door to the engineer or I was not at home during the appointed times. Now - to be fair - this has to work both ways for when the engineer does not turn up during the allotted five hours.
Is it easier to arrange a credit of £50 on my account or to give me "Plusnet Anytime" on the telephone? Either I would see as resolving the issue honourably.

Hi flyhighajw,
Sorry for the delay in responding to you.
Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to credit you £50 for the missed appointment nor would we be able to add "Talk Anytime" on your account without billing you for it. I understand where you're coming from, however, it's not something we would offer.
I've created Ticket: 82819787 on your account. Please reply to this ticket at your earliest convenience.

Re: Job Cancelled due to "Head End Issue" ???

Dear All
Linn has come up with another proposal in ticket 82819787 - which I feel is an good resolution to the problem. I have accepted it and once it is in place, I should feel "well looked after by PlusNet" when things did go wrong.
