It's that time of the month again for me

and I am on Premier Option One level one management having used 13 of the 20gb I pay for.
Why is it during the peak period I am unable to stream any video at all. Off peak it works fine, soon as 4.00pm comes I can't watch any video.
What are plusnet doing to cause this?

They are quite good and go easy in the peak time, plus one is in France at the moment.
I think plusnet are just picking on me  Sad

Santiago - What are you speed tests like during peak?
If I remember, you used to get 1Mbps rather than ~2Mbps when you hit management level 1.

Re: It's that time of the month again for me

Speeds seem ok for level one, this is from Sunday

Last night was similar but I didn't save the test.
Sync currently 5632 which is typical. profile is at 4000 at present, I had a couple of low sync reconnection around the weekend  (had to disconnect the electric supply quite a few times) which dropped the profile.
Off peak everything works as normal, soon as the peak period arrives I can't stream, you tube live leak etc, just continually buffering. This is the same across three machines, XP and Linux.
Surely I should be able to stream from these sites, why do think this is happening?

Can you give it a reboot if you see the same tonight?
We did have a gatewayy issue which might have had an impact, but that should all be fine now.

Re: It's that time of the month again for me

Rebooted the router this morning and changed from thn-ag2 to pte-ag1
Just tried liveleak and youtube, it's just the same.
Tomorrow is my billing date so the problem will go away for now.

The level one management has finished
I can report that all is well and now I can stream videos in peak time.
