Is there any way to map plusnet gateways to ip address

Does anyone have a list plusnet gateways to ip address (ie  pcl-ag06 = 87.114.242.252) or an easy way of finding out, I know a long winded way of finding out i think, or does it change all the time?  I may have a router problem.
Thanks

I don't think you can tell which gateway you are on just from your own IP address, there aren't different ranges of addresses used by each gateway.
Otherwise, the gateway IP address is just the first hop after your router. Without doing a traceroute, your router should already have the gateway IP address somewhere, in addition to your wan IP.

Thanks for the reply ejs
So dose that mean that all plusnet gateways are behind the same ip address or show up that way ?

There is always the gateway tool - http://usertools.plus.net/@gateway/

Look at all the pretty graphs! (now with uptime logging!)

Re: Is there any way to map plusnet gateways to ip address

I'm not really sure why you'd need them, but anyway, here they are:
195.166.128.182 = lo0-central10.pcl-ag01.plus.net
195.166.128.183 = lo0-central10.pcl-ag02.plus.net
195.166.128.184 = lo0-central10.pcl-ag03.plus.net
195.166.128.185 = lo0-central10.pcl-ag04.plus.net
195.166.128.186 = lo0-central10.pcl-ag05.plus.net
195.166.128.187 = lo0-central10.pcl-ag06.plus.net
195.166.128.188 = lo0-central10.pcl-ag07.plus.net
195.166.128.189 = lo0-central10.pcl-ag08.plus.net
195.166.128.190 = lo0-central10.ptn-ag01.plus.net
195.166.128.191 = lo0-central10.ptn-ag02.plus.net
195.166.128.192 = lo0-central10.ptn-ag03.plus.net
195.166.128.193 = lo0-central10.ptn-ag04.plus.net
195.166.128.194 = lo0-central10.ptw-ag04.plus.net
195.166.128.195 = lo0-central10.ptw-ag01.plus.net
195.166.128.196 = lo0-central10.ptw-ag02.plus.net

Thanks purleigh
I lost over 50%(more than 45 Mb's) off my connection speed in less than 24 hours I am trying to eliminate possible cause as I am seeing large variations on different gateways I have a Technicolor TG582n FTTC could this be the problem with it being so sudden?

Re: Is there any way to map plusnet gateways to ip address

If you had asked that a year ago, then the answer would have been yes, and there would been multiple reports of speed differences across gateways.  However back in the spring/summer the gateway balancing was improved considerably, and the complaints about gateway speed or latency have pretty much vanished.
A sudden speed drop like that is much more likely to be something gone wrong locally, such as a new source of electrical interference - such as your central heating firing up now that it's getting colder, or a mains power adaptor going faulty, or a new plasma TV.
Your best bet is to run through the Faults Checker, and let the Faults Team see if they can spot anything untoward.

I'm looking for any pattern between gateway ip address and speed difference.
