Is there a way to set up "Out of Office" message service?

Is there a way to do this without of course installing Exchnage or leaving PC/Laptop on with outlook running with Rules set?
Can it be done in any config in PlusNet say on the Webmail portal?
Thanks for any help

There is an argument against out-of-office autoreplies which is that if any spam gets through it will be replied to. This confirms to the spammer that the address is valid and you potentially end up with more spam.

You could redirect all mail to a gmail address and then set the gmail address to provide an out of office reply.
