I am getting very random download speed every second between 50KB/sec to 120KB/sec
Also downloading from SSH (using WinSCP) - I get less than 1KB/sec !

Quote from: cso I'm currently downloading ftp://ftp.mirrorservice.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/18/Fedora/x86_64/iso/Fedora-18-x86_64-DVD.iso as a test for you at 1.4MB/sec according to Firefox.
Average of around 3.5MB/sec here, on ptw-ag01.

Just tried the above link [on fibre] - I seem to be getting only 2MB/sec (top speed on exceptional sites is 8MB/sec).
