Is my target SNR ever going to reduce!

Since all the problems I was having months ago I've reconfigured my set up.  Basically removing all internal extension wiring and using XTE faceplate.
My connection now appears to be rock solid.  As far as I can tell I've had no drops other than a few occasions when I've had to unplug the router (oh, and one powercut).  I don't tend to leave my PC on so routerstats is not always running.
Anyhooo, my noise margin hasn't budge.  Seems to always be around the 12 mark.  (DG Team software used to force this to 10).
As I've had no drops, I thought the target would slowly drop in steps of 3?

Re: Is my target SNR ever going to reduce!

I can kick off the ten day training period again if you like which will reset your SNR to 6db?

Hmm, I'll leave it a week.  See what happens.

No worries, just post back here or drop one of us staff (me, Bob, Mand or Chris) a PM and we'll get it sorted for you.

Re: Is my target SNR ever going to reduce!

After the engineer visit the other day , New face plate, re-wiring.
I have 4.5 to 6 dB improvement in attenuation / SNRM
could you reset my line please.
No errors, spurious disconnections at all now, but the line is
at 15.5 dB SNR and PN/BT line  profile 9mbit.
6 to 9 and let the line throughput profile rise, should help.
Thank-you.
Its 6 days since re-wiring, alls silent on the line-drops.
Ta,
Toby Gaffney.

Toby, you're on the 21CN network and we can't reset your training period very easily (if at all) Sad
