I have recently upgraded to an up to 20mbps package.
My connection speed has increased from 6500 to about 7500. When i try to connect as ADSL2 the connection fails. Does this mean i am still on ADSL1?
The profile for my line is 6500 and connected at 7616, is the best I will get from my line?
Thanks
Download speedachieved during the test was - 6432 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :7616 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 6500 Kbps
The throughput of Best Efforts (BE) classes achieved during the test is - 17.29:22.48:60.23 (SBE:NBE:PBE)
These figures represent the ratio while sententiously passing Sub BE, Normal BE and Priority BE marked traffic.
The results of this test will vary depending on the way your ISP has decided to use these traffic classes.

Hi jthom,
You're on the 21CN network but on the ADSL1 service - I've taken the liberty of placing a modify to move you to ADSL2 with an uncapped upstream, that should complete tomorrow for you. Hope that's okay.

Matt,
My upstream rate has now increased 1100. Thank you for that.
The estimate for my downstream is 12500 on the plus site, but i am only connecting at 8400. Before the upgrade the estimate was 6000 whch was spot on.
My BT profile seems to be stuck at 7000.
Are there any outstanding changes left on my line? Or will the speed continue to increase with time.
Regards
Justin
