Hi
Having suffered a fault on my line last week which ended up in a total loss of telephone/broadband I am now back online and trying to sort my IP Profile out since reconnecting.
Although I understand I *should* wait the magic 72 hours for it all to settle down I've been continuously synched for over a day and haven't seen one bit of increase - surely there should be some?
My current stats are:
Download speed achieved during the test was - 112 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 50-250 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :3296 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 135 Kbps
And it's been this way since I started trying to sort the stupid thing out yesterday.
Is it a case of playing the waiting game (again!) or is something else wrong? I've a bit of searching and it appears that there should be percentage increases over time - I'm yet to see anything!

No the change happens all in one go, not a bit at a time. The IP Profile percentage increase 2500/135 x 100 = 1850% in your case used to mean a change should have taken place within 4-12 hours, but sadly that rule no longer appears to apply. It might occur in 2 days, but could take 3.
The main thing is to demonstrate a continuous connection - don't turn the router off and don't restart it to try to help - the effect is likely to be the opposite.

Okay so just ran another test and looks like things have moved - but I'm still getting stupidly low download speeds:
Download speedachieved during the test was - 207 Kbps
For your connection, the acceptable range of speeds is 600-7150 Kbps.
Additional Information:
Your DSL Connection Rate :3296 Kbps(DOWN-STREAM), 448 Kbps(UP-STREAM)
IP Profile for your line is - 2500 Kbps
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Matt,
I've changed the profile on our side to match that set on BTs, you should notice a speed increase shortly
Hope that helps,
