Is Re-training required? #65240342

After clanla reported being stuck at 12 dB SNRM http://community.plus.net/forum/index.php/topic,111390.0.html
I decided to review my set up, and it looks like the DLM has had it in for me!
Although I had been running for 20 days ok with the 11dB the figures are somewhat different from those I'd taken on 3 Jan 2013! (The details in red are from 3 Jan 2013 prior to requesting Upload being uncapped)
Details from RouterStats:
  Modem state:                  up
Up time (Days hh:mm:ss):    0 days, 0:18:52 (after logging #65240342 I was disconnected!)
  xDSL Standard:                ITU-T G.992.5
  xDSL Annex:                  Annex A
  Channel Mode:                      Interleaved
Downstream:
Noise Margin:  12.0  dB (3.5 dB)
Bandwidth:    14913  kbps (19643 kbps)
Attenuation:  28.5  dB (27.5 dB)
Power:        0.0    dBm (0.0 dBm)
Upstream:
Noise Margin:  6.4    dB  (30.8 dB)
Bandwidth:    1205  kbps (444 kbps) [of course this is the uncapping]
Attenuation:  13.8  dB (13.9 dB)
Power:        12.6  dBm (12.9 dBm)
PlusNet details:
Estimated line speed:
11Mb (This may vary between 6.5Mb and 15Mb) - Checked on 2013-01-02 13:25:43 (this hasn't changed)
Current line speed:
13.3 Mb (17.3Mb)
Current BT tests:
http://speedtest.btwholesale.com
1. Best Effort 12.99Mbps
Acceptable range 4-21Mbps
IP Profile 13.37 Mbps
2. Upstream 1.03 Mbps
IP Profile 0.83 Mbps
Speedtest taken on 3 Jan 2013
http://speedtester.bt.com/
1. Best Effort 15.7 Mbps
Acceptable range 4-21Mbps
IP Profile 17.33 Mbps
2. Upstream 0.35 Mbps
IP Profile 0.45 Mbps

I know there is some payback for having Upload uncapped, but should it be this much?

Re: Is Re-training required? #65240342

Hi there,
I suspect it's more that the uncapping of the upstream caused an SNR reset, though I'm not sure why it all retrained at 12dB instead of 3 or 6? More than happy to do another reset though if you wish, I wouldn't say that this warranted a fault ticket though?
Please let us know if you'd like us to reset the SNR, thanks.

I guess I just like to be different  Crazy
So yes please Matt, I would appreciate an SNR reset, and I will also close the ticket.

Thanks for that, I've put the SNR reset for you and it should take effect within the next couple of hours or so - hope it sorts things out for you.

Sad The SNR reset didn't happen, can someone from Plusnet take a look for me please?
Is there something I should have done?
Thanks!
