Is FTTC worth it?

I've currently got the 80gb allowance up to 18MB ADSL package and have been looking at the fiber options in my area
BT wholesale site says I should be able to get 80/20 (D/U) as I live right next to the cab
I have my phone and broadband with Plusnet at the moment and was wondering how much it would cost to upgrade to a comparible filber product?
I'd want to have the same or more data allowance.

It very much depends on whether the speed you currently get with your ADSL connection is adequate for your needs. If you have a sub-2Mbps connection like the one I had, it's definitely worth it!
