Re: Ip from membercenter

doesn't help if they are on holiday, it's your current IP not your home connection IP.
if you're on static IP you can get it from the member centre not sure about dynamic.

Not something you can do while you are away, but what you need is something like DynDNS.

Where in the members centre? I have a static IP and under connection settings the IP is specified as server assigned.
For a static IP by default PN set username.plus.com to point to the static IP, which mean you just have to enter http://username.plus.com to reach your home connection.

Tells me under connection settings > static IP, click that and I get

Re: Ip from membercenter

Me as well. Actually "IP is specified as server assigned" sounds like something your router would say.

Re: Ip from membercenter

I have not got the Static IP icon  Cry It's in the Connection Details that I see server assigned for the IP address. I joined PN on the PAYG account which by default was a static IP.

Re: Ip from membercenter

We have 2 IP icons on our business account, one shows our static IP and the other shows dynamic IP Undecided Undecided
I'm thinking of converting the dynamic one to a different static IP from our current one Wink

Re: Ip from membercenter

The two icons just represent two components, one will probably be active and one not. I can easily kill the unused one if it bugs you.
