Ip Profile synced to 135 KBPS

I restarted my router a couple of times on Monday morning and my ip profile got synced to 135 KBPS. Speed is crawling now.
I have raised a fault on Monday itself and is still 135 KBPS itself.
Its been 4 days and the problem is not yet resolved.

HI vivekksk,
I've just has a look at your connection history (see below). It seems that you switch your router off at night. Your line needs to become stable again for the speed to pick up so I would advise leaving the router on continuously until it picks up; in fact, you'd have a much more stable connection if you were to leave it on 24/7

Re: Ip Profile synced to 135 KBPS

Hello Jojo,
Thanks for the response.  My router was turned on throughout the night and not sure why it was showing as shut down.

Will it be possible to force the IP Profile to a higher value? I can afford dropouts than a crawling speed.

HI vivekksk,
I wish we had control over your IP profile. BT's Dynamic Line Management (DLM) controls those changes. There's a brief description of DLM here.

Re: Ip Profile synced to 135 KBPS

Hi Jojo,
I found that its because of my connection trigger was "On demand" and idle time was 1800 seconds router was going offline at night.
I changed the idle time to 50000 seconds, which is more than 13 hrs so that router wont go off again at night.
I could have changed my trigger to "Always on", But that will again result in to a reboot. (It already rebooted when i changed the idle Sad )
Long long more i need to wait till i get back to a good speed? Please dont tell me again 72 hrs Sad

Ah, I see. Large increases in profile will tend to happen sooner than 72 hours.

Hi vivekksk,
It's looking a lot more stable since yesterday. I'll see what I can do for you this afternoon.

Hi Hi vivekksk,,
Managed to get your sync back up to 8047k so you should get a 7000 profile soon.
