Internet speed really slow.

Our speed has dropped down from 4.5mb 1.01mb, the upload speed is the same speed. Our Internet Usage just  got renewed today.


Someone please Explain this? Thank you.

Hi aldabbagh,
I've just checked over your line, I can see that your line is connecting at around 5.3Mb. I've had a look at the SVLAN Report which reports any known congestion issues at your exchange - this is showing as Amber which is the likely cause for the throughput issues you're seeing.
We would expect that our suppliers will add further capacity as soon as they can but I'm unable to put any fixed time frame on that I'm afraid. I can see that you're looking at moving to FTTC (Fibre) - this wouldn't effect you as you would be connected to a different SVLAN. We'll work with our suppliers to ensure further capacity is added as quickly as possible.

That's right, a capacity issue at the exchange.
Our suppliers are already aware of the issue and are working on getting this resolved for you Smiley

As I say, I can't really give a time frame on it I'm afraid. Usually, such issues are cleared up within a week or so.
