Internet slowing down, almost stopped

This past week I noticed my speeds jumped up from 13meg down to 14.6 but I have also noticed with this change my ping has jumped from 20 to 40, the past couple of nights ive also noticed some web pages struggling to load, can I have my connection checked please, only just a few moments ago I had to jump gateways because I could not load any webpages. I could not even access this site, I have not changed anything on my side and my router is all upto date, normally pages load in within 1-3 seconds this evening they still trying to load after 2 mins.
Bt speedtest shows me have 14meg speeds but a ping of 50 so something aint right, even with 14meg, I don't understand why webpages wont load ? btw btspeedtester site also took ages to load up.

Same here, reckon it is a DNS server issue.

yeah, mine's cycling between 10mb/s to 40 mb/s ping range from 15 - 50 ms ! Coventry area for me

Was about to make a thread about this, I've started noticing a similar issue today. My speeds are going anywhere from 12 down to 18 down (usually stable at 18 down) and like you guys at times I'm completely unable to load any web pages.
