Internet slowed to a crawl past fortnight

Well, it seems like my connection has stabilized the past few hours, (but slow - of course) and I don't think I've had any drop in connections since initially connecting to the test socket.
I raised a ticket and will leave things exactly they way they are over the rest of the weekend, or until I hear a response.

Well, support got back and they suggested contacting the wholeseller to turn on interleaving.
For diagnostic purposes, I'm ok with it. But I'm not sure how this will work out long-term, since I'm a gamer and potential latency problems will suck. Kinda sounds like a band-aid fix, tbh. (Not a dig a Plusnet customer support, mind you - they've been great so far  8))
I just wonder what could have caused the massive d/c errors. I'm plugged back into the main socket, and it feels pretty stable at the moment.

To be honest, it's unlikely to cause that many problems. You will probably see an increase of 6ms on your ping rate. (This is dependent on the Interleaving level applied). Let's see how things go with Interleaving on, if it starts to cause any problems, we can come back to it and have another look for you.

erm - if your line profile is 0.5Mbps - you're not gonna get anything faster IMHO - happened to me once when my Demon line dropped to 512K for reasons unknown - the reset the line and I was back to 8mb in minutes....

The line was being banded when  that speed test was taken place.

Things were running great for 48 or so hours, (after a SNR reset) but the disconnections are back with a vengeance.
Speed is currently where it should be, staying connected is proving to be an issue.
Very confusing, (and annoying!) indeed

Yeah, its been worse today than its ever been.

Can you post the current full DSL stats from your modem/router?
Looking at the posted Vis.Radius logs, prior to around the the first week in April, before these initial slow speeds, had you been suffering any Disconnections at all?
Whilst you are connected to the test socket, can you look at the wires that are connected to the back of the Faceplate that's been removed and tell us what colour wires are connected to which terminal numbers and how many sets of cables there are connected to the plate?
How many fixed extension sockets do you have? Whilst you are connected to the test socket can you check each extension socket is dead by plugging in a phone and filter to each socket in turn.

If I've read this correctly you were getting a lot of disconnections. You then moved to the test socket and following that it looked like this:

You've now stopped using the test socket and this happened:

If you stopped using the test socket in the last day or so the fault is definitely on your side. It will either be a problem with your internal wiring or something else you have plugged in to another telephone socket. Unfiletered Sky boxes are a common culprit.
Have you got filters on everything plugged in to any phone socket and not just the socket with the router?
Where do you normally plug in your router, the master or another socket?

Not my interpretation jelv, there seemed to be some disconnects at the test socket. I'd rather look at the whole situation.
