Internet just ground to a halt then recovered.

Just experienced about 15 minutes of very slow internet connection - even pinging the Gateway got time-outs.  But now it seems to be better again.

OK, we're not aware of any issues and haven't seen any other reports but we'll remain vigilant.

You are currently connected to gateway pcl-ag08.

In fact, I have been connected for the past 1139 hours.

I didn't change gateway; just waited.

Re: Internet just ground to a halt then recovered.

@ReedRichards,   what time did your slowdown happen ?
I'm on 'ptn-ag04',  and was updating my eBay watch list from numerous notification emails, and as you say for at least 15 minutes the eBay website was noticeably slow to build, and the embedded pictures within eBay emails were either timing out loading, or the picture detail was very slow to fill in.
For me I guess that was around 16:15 to 16:30 although I wasn't really aware of the actual time.
I was so fed up what with all the speed problems recently, that eventually I gave up and went and made something to eat, rather than waste my time getting stressed yet again about the poxy broadband.
It seems better now, with no sign of the problem on my TBB graph.

Re: Internet just ground to a halt then recovered.

Had the same earlier at around the same time (as can be seen from my BQM) and had to hop gateways

Don't know what gateway I was on, but am on ptw-ag01 at the moment and seems fine. Though am becoming increasingly bored at monitoring my connection when I shouldn't have too.

Re: Internet just ground to a halt then recovered.

I posted almost as soon as my internet speed had got back to being fast enough to allow me to do so (which was around 5p.m.).  I had been experiencing unusably slow speeds for at least the previous 15 minutes.

Had a very similiar thing yesterday and on the 10th around this time.
Seeing packet loss at the moment too, on pcl-ag04

Re: Internet just ground to a halt then recovered.

Or maybe you just think it did.  Gateway hopping gives you something to occupy yourself with, but my connection recovered spontaneously on the same gateway.

Yes, mine recovered WITHOUT hopping.
