Internet goes on and off every 5 mins

My internet is fine, then my dsl and internet lights go off then it flickers then reconnects and its fine again.
It keeps happening.

Getting annoying now.

Have you tried changing filter and connecting to the test socket
Do you have another router to try
Also what are the stats - speed, attenuation, noise margin

You have a major problem as shown by the upstream speed
We need to take this systematically
Disconnect everything from the telephone system except your phone then try the quiet line test - dial 17070 option 2 - Is there any noise - crackles etc,
Try the router in the test socket with nothing else connected and report the stats

Done the quiet test just a little crackle then its fine

That tells me that there is a problem either with your internal wiring, or a duff filter or a dodgy item connected to the phone line.
Can you describe what you have connected to the phone line and how
Also can you leave the computer in the test socket and see if the problem is fixed.
If you need a phone you can connect it to the filter in the test socket but if possible leave it disconnected for a while
PS Speed tests are irrelevant we are trying to find out what has mucked up your connection

phone line into the front of the white plate, i took off the plate and my broadband in connected to the actual plate loads of coulerd wires.

the end of broadband cable in the white box is 2 blue wires into a 4 pin thing, i cant unplug that only can unplug the phone.

OK stop fiddling and lets try and sort things out
The last speeds were they from the test socket or the front plate of the master socket
Do you have a phone connected at present
Do you have a digital camera or phone with a camera.
If so can you photograph the white box at the end of the broadband cable and attach the picture to a post using the Additional Options link

Its been on constant for 4 hours now no problems, it cant be my side or any equipment i have, its got to be your selves or people at my exchange faffing about.
can some one check my account and see if im getting the right speeds sync etc?

Your router is not showing sync at the moment. Have you had it switched off?
