Internet connection dropping

My Internet has started to drop connection, started last night.
Had problems this evening too.
Weird as never had these issues before.
Tried all trouble shooting ideas.
All of a sudden drops, occasionally red light comes on under 'Internet'
Anyone else having same problems?
Any suggestions?

I suggest raising a dropping connection fault at http://faults.plus.net. That will cover basic checks then carry out a preliminary analysis and submit a report to the faults team for more detailed analysis.

Been having this same problem for 2 months now. Contacted plusnet cust service and have seen 5 yes FIVE BT engineers. And still getting problems, my internal wiring was changed and they changed my master socket. Same issue.

Welcome to the community.

It shows that you have over the weekend had disconnections on your connection. Did anything change internally around these times or was there any noise/crackling on your phone line?
I'd suggest leaving you router switched on as it appears that you are turning it off, this can effect performance and may also make it hard to diagnose any issues.
I'd suggest you raise a fault <a href="http://faults.plus.net">here</a> and complete the initial diagnostic questions and if you're still experiencing this issue we'll investigate further.

Many thanks for your response Chris,
I have been switching the router off, I will leave it on this week and see how things go.  My phone line is a little crackly every now and then.  I will try moving the router to a different room to see if his helps.  If the problem persists I will raise a fault via your link.  Again many thanks for your help!
