Internet Live Today But No Upload

Is the zero upload with multiple devices? If so, it's probably a router fault.
If it's only on a single device, then a wireless card driver update may help resolve the issue, if there are any available.

See if that lot shows up anything out of the ordinary.

That info is fairly typical, apart from which now we know this is a wireless problem, it doesn't really help much.
You can/should always leave off the "and checking ......... from the "You are using a debugging mode" line.
If you go to http://192.168.1.254/device_tod.lp?be=0&l0=4&l1=1 you haven't perchance got anything odd set up there?
Or anywhere else in that Home Network section? (All the bits in blue are links to more detail).

No there's nothing odd there & the access timer is disabled.
I have exactly the same setup & laptop that worked on BT, Sky & Virgin.
The only change is the Plusnet ISP & or router.

you don't have any static IP addresses still configured from the previous networks on the other routers?
the wifi devices are definitely picking up an IP from the new router?
did you change the WIFI name on the plusnet router to match your previous WIFI network? or have you left it "as is"?
i've seen problems occur when the wifi name has been changed to match a previous network and devices get confused.

I use the rule of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" so I moved the laptop from our old house where it was on Virgin, to our new house where it's on Plusnet.
Absolutely nothing's been changed & the router's in "out-of-the-box" condition apart from the password.
Edit: I ran the configuration wizard which changed the service name from PPOA to Plusnet after which the internet connection failed so I did another factory reset which put the service name back to PPOA.
I can now  post via wireless & VPN's working but BT Wholesale speed tester still shows 0.0meg for the upload speed whilst the USwitch speed tester shows 0.3meg upload speed.

I spoke too soon as the problem's recurred so it worked after a factory reset, did a few uploads & then crashed again.

Following up on chenks thoughts (bearing in mind I'm no wifi expert, MrW is the man for that) is I have come across odd wireless behaviour before when there's been more than one wireless network involved but can't recall the detail.
Bearing in mind, your Plusnet Wireless will have its own name, either the default or something you've given it - on your laptop, go into network settings and delete any references you can find to any wireless connections. Then reboot the laptop as well. Also delete the wireless connection detail for it in the router.
Then try setting up the Plusnet one again. That may help.

I can't even get a wireless internet connection now, it connects to the router but hangs on "identifying".
The BT Wifi-Fon connects, identifies & has an internet connection in about 5 seconds from clicking connect.

Isn't there a known issue with that router and some wifi adaptors, which could be solved by using a wired connection, logging in to the router, and shortening the SSID?

Well I found a couple of odd references to this, but at the time no evidence from affected users that they did it or it worked. There's certainly no harm in trying it and then we may know  if that actually works.

You could also try disabling WiFi 'n' mode and see if it makes any difference (  instructions are here http://npr.me.uk/telnet.html )
It does sound like the router though...

Well I got an internet connection via  Plusnet  wirelessly just now & typed a reply which then, which I forgot, wouldn't upload so this is posted via BT WiFi-Fon
The Plusnet wireless internet connection issue has occurred only once, to date, whilst the non-upload & non-VPN is a constant fault.
The laptop was left on standby since last night so it's not a restart that made the difference.
I'll try the latest potential solutions & report back.
If all else fails I might get a cheapo wireless router from Maplins.

Thanks Jaggies but shortening the SSID name didn't work but disabling WiFi 'n' mode & fixing it at 802.11b/g has worked so now I can upload via a Plusnet wireless connection so thanks for that one Mr W.
I'm still working on the VPN problem & I'll ask the VPN provider for any ideas they may have.
