Internet Dropouts and High Ping

Hi, recently i am getting more and more frequent disconnections from the internet, it appears to be a login issue, i don't appear to loose sync, just it logs out and back in again, it gets worse in the evenings

Also now my ping to websites is really high and gaming is almost impossible

unfortunately no options of FTTC or FTTP in my area as none of the cabs at the exchange have fibre

Any ideas on getting my latency improved?

Hi there.

I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing connection problems.

Our tests are finding a potential line card fault at the exchange, so I've raised this with Openreach now.

I'll update your account with more info soon, but we should know more within 1-3 working days.

Hi there,

I see the ticket has been closed, but the issue has not been resolved

I have had at least 10+ disconnect/reconnects in the last hour, so something still isn't right, seems to get worse later in the evenings

We're not seeing that on our end as shown below.

Can you confirm if you normally connect over a wired or wireless connection?
