Re: Intermittent WAN disconnects.

A further seven disconnects since 4PM yesterday, one rather long one too. Nothing but the Modem/Router connected to the Master Socket test port - As the engineer left it on the Mon 20th Feb.  Speeds still remain around 20Mbps.  I'm fairly confident the issue is NOT the wiring or the Data Extension on the property.

Re: Intermittent WAN disconnects.

@Thatwilllldo12 That last set shows clearly that you are suffering xDSL drops - the information I requested earlier would help, but I would reccomend reporting a broadband fault via https://www.plus.net/help/report-a-problem/broadband/

Re: Intermittent WAN disconnects.

As I'm helping via PM you won't need to report a fault as I can take care of that, please get back to my message when you can @Thatwilllldo12

Re: Intermittent WAN disconnects.

@jab1  I've posted several logs and screen grabs of the DSL Systems page for you a page back.  What is it exactly you would like to see and I'll have a look for you.

Good to hear a staffer is on the case @adamwalker , but it is also nice for those Community members who have attempted to help to know what is happening - unless of course it is account related issue, in which case I understand the need for privacy.

The current situation as reposted in msg. #29 would be useful.

Re: Intermittent WAN disconnects.

@Thatwilllldo12 Thanks for the current 'state of play' screenshots. As I said a few posts back, the issue is somewhere else, not you kit, but before your master socket - i.e. the Openreach network, although the bridge-tap won't have helped, but with your current connection set-up, that should be eliminated.

Re: Intermittent WAN disconnects.

@jab1  No problem. If you think anything else needs posting up just ask.

Yup, I'm in agreement with you here. The only thing connected in the house is the modem to the test port: no phone, no extension, no pc, no switch, nothing. Problem persists.  I wasn't sure in November when this started, hence going through all the steps to diagnose, but two engineers, everything disconnected and problem worsening has confirmed to me the problem isn't in this house.

Let's see what Engineer Number 3 brings. Lucky for some.

Re: Intermittent WAN disconnects.

Quick Update, Just got cut off ( wan drop again) a few minutes ago when trying to reply to @adamwalker

Speaking of @adamwalker . Huge thanks to him for his help behind the scenes. He's currently in the process of arranging another engineer as the system is now flagging up a high resistance fault.
