Intermittent Disconnection

I am new to Plusnet having been connected to the fibre broadband service on the 19/04/2012. With speeds of 37Mb as against the 1.8Mb that we used to get with TalkTalk broadband I was very pleased initially.
However, in the 3.5 days that I have had the service I have experienced a lot of disconnections which manifest themselves in a BT Wholesale Service information page which lists a number of reasons as to why we are seeing the page. The only reason which might be applicable in the list is that of provider loss of service (or words to that effect).
Is this common? Is it to be expected in the early days on a fibre service?

This seems to be an issue with the FTTC router, or possibly the fibre modem. You need to manually specify the PlusNet DNS servers in the router - have a look at this thread.

Thanks for your reply. I followed the link and followed the instructions. It is now just a matter of waiting I suppose. I will post a reply if the problem re-occurs.
