That was a good idea Strat, just see how it goes for a few days. I see DLM has lowered the Interleaving depth on the DS to 96 but turned on some on the US - 4, but that isn't showing any errors 
At least all the errors are looking better at the moment. Are they digging further away I wonder

I hadn't noticed the upstream interleaving change.
It's a council contract job so your guess is as good as mine.
I'll leave everything alone for the rest of the week at least (quite an achievement for a compulsive fiddler)....thanks.

If the US interleaving goes above 4 it will restrict the US sync to a 888kbps cap.

Could one of the DC guys turn off my D/S interleaving please, U/S appears to be as near as dammit off according to RouterStats at depth 1
I don't know what happened on the 15th of May when D/S switched on

Order to remove it has been placed and is due to complete tomorrow

Update:
On the 31st of May D/S interleaving was turned off.
On the 3rd of June D/S interleaving turned itself back on again probably because errors were accumulating quite quickly.
I'm now waiting for the various road works in the area to complete with all the heavy machinery and equally heavy workmen to depart after which I can get down to some serious diagnostics.
