Interesting logos

I logged into my account today to update some details and was struck by the interesting "Dawn of a new day" logo on the member page.  Then I checked the home page logo which also had some interesting elements, particularly the red tape encircling everything. Who designed these logos and how much say did plusnet have in their design?

Hi Ratbag,
The illustrations your referring to are all done in house within the online team. The original branding and visual design for the website was done in conjunction with several specialist agencies that came up with the concepts for the illustrations as part of the wider exercise.
So to answer your question, the style of the illustrations are defined by our brand guidelines which were created back in 2008, but the content and what appears in the illustrations are defined by Plusnet. The brand guidelines define the theme and style of the banners for us, hence allows us to keep consistency throughout the site.
We are currently in the process of reviewing the homepage illustration/animation and looking at making some changes in the near future, so as they say watch this space...

I wish Plusnet would bring back the themed logos… they were a nice touch that really added some ‘humanness’ to the site. I guess the bean counters stopped seeing the point in them.

I absolutely and totally agree with you about the Themed Logos.
Please bring them back.
