Installed but Plusnet cannot Activate

I'm finding plusnet to be absolute rubbish to be quite honest.
First of all BT engineer arrives informs me they don't carry the data extension kit.
When Plusnet rang me and confirmed yesterday my installation date and that they would be carrying the cable.
Now my router is displaying an orange Internet light. So I've rung broadband support.
They say they can't activate any broadband services today due to one of their systems been down.


This is especially insulting when they guaranteed. Little to no downtime.
I have to VPN into work today as I've taken a day off but I can't this is absolutely unacceptable.

They also cannot even estimate a time of service renewal.
Must say I am not impressed with plusnet so far whatsoever.  Angry

Your account has now been activated. Unfortunately we did have a slight issue this morning with activations so apologies for that.

Thanks JP, currently my speedtest results are 24meg.
Whereas when the line initially came up I was seeing 34meg.
Is this just dlm testing?
If so can I expect to see an even further drop ?

I wouldn't pay too much heed to early results as these can fluctuate.
