jim:post The site linked on the original post includes some very nasty popups of sexually explicit material
It appears to be random and may have been blocked by my Adblock software.

So PlusNet are saying that the problem is because of the IWH blacklist which applies to all PN traffic.
Why don't I believe this?
Well for one some of you can see the images. So I diid a bit more digging and came across several posts suggesting that I change gateways.
I logged off/on on the router to force a reconnection and get (more often than not) routed through a different gateway. Some gateways will
allow all the iamges on the "IWF" servers while other gateways will not.
Seems strange that IWF policies are not beeing applied to all connections. If so what's the point ?
I'm not against IWF. I just want to be told the full story.
So is the IWF implemenation at PN flawed? Or is my problem nothing to do with IWF but a problem with PN's infrastructure?

I have found also that some imagevenue servers time out, yet others are fine. Can't recall the same issue on BT.
Has anyone seen my signature, it's gone missing.

Should be sorted now
It was down to some missing config on one of our core routers (ptn-gw01).
