IP profile very different from current line speed

I don't know if this is normal. Please help me.
My modem syncs with the exchange at 8128
BT Speedtester gives me a max achieveable and IP Profile speed of 7150
But my download speed is only 3070
Plusnet has a current line speed of 3500
I understand there are differences between the speeds, but is it normal for it to be so very large, especially between the IP profile and the Plusnet current line speed?

This is quite odd
I've run a line test on your line which shows your IP profile as 3500kbps. I've also checked BT's line speed delta reports and that shows the same IP profile with a time stamp of 07/10/09. The strange thing is that this seems to have been generated from a sync event with a time stamp of 27/02/09.
I've altered the profiling at this side so try a reboot and let me know how you get on.

Firstly, thank you so much for your fast reply.
I've rebooted and run three different tests with different speed testers. I'll do a BT speedtest once my 3 hours are up.
However, the other tests show download speeds of between 6.2 and 6.6 Mbps, double what I had before, which is utterly fantastic.
So you fixed my problem and have a very satisfied customer.
