IP profile is not updating

After getting no where with the official support channels I decided to make a post over on kitz forum (some very helpfull people over there)!
So here is my issue in a nut shell.
Connection Speed 1824 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 61.0 db 31.5 db
Noise Margin 10.9 db 19.0 db
WAN Uptime: 133:18:07
IP Profile is at 1250 and should be at 1500
When I spoke to plusnet CS I was told that because my line is syncing close enough to my initial line prediction plusnet simply would not help....... thanks!
Perhaps I have this wrong but I dont think that what ever the magic BT equipment is that decides your IP profile is open to opionions if the sync numbers are high enough then logic takes over and should up scale the ip profile to match?
And the other problem with this whole thing is that the line will sync at 2272 if I unplug the telephone which should not happen and I have been informed this is likley a high resistance fault?
Router is in the test socket and no ext in the house at all.
Hope someone can help?

Can you give us the router stats in the test socket without the phone?

I know you have probably done all sorts of checks by now, but so I could run a test now, would it be possible for you to plug your filter into the test socket and let me know so I can continue to try to resolve this for you.

synced at 1856 yet the IP profile is 1250 on the BT test site

Not sure what you did there but here are my router stats:
Connection Speed 2720 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 61.0 db 31.5 db
Noise Margin 1.1 db 19.0 db
massive jump.
IP Profile is still at 1250
Given that the sync speed has jumped up by 46% the profile should update in 12 hours with Adaptive Max Logic?

I just want to say I realy appreciate this in an afternoon you have helped me achive what I have been trying to get through the standard support since 20/11/2010
The ticket I have does not exactly contain everything that was said on the phone for probably obvious reasons.
Could you PM me your office address and managers name please or email I would like to write in about this.
If this works and holds steady I will be ordering an additional 3 BT lines through plusnet and bonding them, which will give me the sort of speeds I actualy need (work from home) I am going through 3G card bandwidth allowances like pea nuts right now.

I think I had a very brief drop out at arounf 10:34 this morning as I noticed in the log that the SNR dropped to 0 (running routerstats 6.6) but apart from that the line had been synced way more than 12 hours so I still belive there is a problem and my IP profile is 'stuck'
