IP profile has been lowered?

My IP profile was 38717kbps but I ran a BT speed check this morning and it's now gone down to 25859kbps.
Please can someone at PN take a look and explain the change as I haven't switched the router or modem off (unless the kids have been playing around!)
Plusnet Value Fibre
Download 23818kbps (used to get 35000kbps)
Upload 1581kbps (same as before)

Hi Steve,
It looks like a couple of disconnections yesterday may have caused this. This is normal behaviour when a line drops out. Once the line remains stable then the profile will go back up. It doesn't work in the same way as ADSL, and can take longer to go back up. It seems to have stayed up since then, but if you give me a nudge I can check tomorrow and see if there have been any more disconnections.
