Thanks for your comittmemt.   Incidentally all yesterday and again this morning when I go to use the BT Speedtester it never goes beyond this:

Hopefully the banding will get removed sometime today.

As nothing had happened by this morning I added to my ticket and have now been told that the request to have my banding removed was put through this morning, and should be done on the next DLM update at my exchange.

Still no joy 24 hours on.    I've added to my ticket a couple of hours back so hoping I'll get a response sometime today.  A satisfactory solution certainly doesn't look too hopeful at the moment as far as I can see.
