I've just had a new broadband connection set up in my new property and after a while I was informed that the line speed was set to around 7Mb which I can confirm as my sync speed is indeed over 7Mb. However the BT IP profile speed has stuck at 2 Mb and has been at this level for at least two weeks, so my actual download speeds are being capped. Is there any way of forcing or encouraging the profile speed to increase in line with the actual sync speed. I thought htis was supposed to happen automatically but it seems to have got stuck. Plusnet staff will have to get BT to unstick that profile. They might try to do that by resetting the line, which I believe sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. However the staff should be along tomorrow to take a look.
