IP Profile increase

Hi,
Anyway or chance to increase my IP profile? Current line speed is..
- 3500 (Sync Speed - 4000 kbps to 4512 kbps, Up to 3.5 Mbps)
Modem Status - Connected (Wireless)
DownStream Connection Speed - 3029 kbps (379kB/s) 319 kbps (39.9kB/s)
UpStream Connection Speed - 319 kbps (39.9kB/s)
With Sky broadband before we moved to plusnet ours was..
- 6500 (Sync Speed - 7392 kbps to 7936 kbps, Up to 6.5 Mbps)
How could it become half the speed we got with Sky?

Hi Barrytrcy,
Your line profile at our end actually matches the BT one which is set at 1250kbps. You've been online 2 days so its due to reset sometime tomorrow which is when your profile should become more appropriate to your sync sped, which at the moment is 6848kbps, you you should be on a 6mb profile within 24 hours. Give support a shout if not.

Still no increase in speed. My current line speed is still 3500.

So they can ask the same things over and over, already been through it, made no difference. I do not understand why plusnet halved my speed.

It's not Plusnet as such.  You are now at the mercy of BT's automated Dynamic Line Management system, which is a law unto itself.

Ok so nothing can be done to increase my speed?
It seems ever since I created this thread my speed has slowly began getting slower not faster.
Down: 1374 kbps (172kB/s)   Up: 362 kbps (45.3kB/s)
It would be nice to see plusnet comment on this...

Both BT & PN profiles are now 3500, what speeds are you getting now?

Down: 3171 kbps (396kB/s)  Up: 342 kbps (42.8kB/s)
It has increased but is still halve of what I was getting on Sky broadband. My current line speed has always been 3500, any chance in increasing it?

Hi Barrytrcy,
After running a line test I would definitely expect you to get better than that. Would you like me to reset your training period for you? This may sort it out.

Please do. Speed seems to have decreased, youtube and other sites couldn't load.
Do we need to do anything on our end?
