IP Profile Stuck

Hi
I've been stuck on a 1750 profile despite being synced at 2.3/2.5mbit for the last few weeks. Any chance it can be bumped up to 2000? I know it doesn't sound like alot but that extra 30KB/s really helps when you're on such a slow connection!!  Cheesy

Re: IP Profile Stuck

Have you checked what the BT profile says at http://speedtester.bt.com/ as this will determine what the PN is set to, only if this is higher will changing the PN one make any difference.

Re: IP Profile Stuck

Yeah, BT site says 1750 too.
Guess I just need to wait a while longer then, it's normally 3 days for profile raises though from what I've seen in the past and it's been way longer than that now.

Check the profile calculator just after half-way down http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/IPprofile.htm

Re: IP Profile Stuck

You need to synch above 2272 kbps for a 2Mbit profile

Re: IP Profile Stuck

You've been in sync at 2560kbps for  2 Days, 5hours. Please leave your equipment powered up until around 9am tomorrow morning then reboot (just once) and you should have a 2000kbps profile assigned.

Re: IP Profile Stuck

Why does he need to reboot ? isn't it better to just disconnect and reconnect in the routers settings?

Re: IP Profile Stuck

Nine times out of ten, the system forces the PPP disconnect anyway when the delta report is received from BT Wholesale.
