Hi, so up until a few weeks ago I was able to stream netflix while
playing my online game with no issue. I could view webpages
and all sorts of crazy things while netflix was open.
Recently, though, having netflix streaming causes a lot of lag in
game (streaming from ps4 or pc, checked both) and has also
randomly caused pages to not load at all as if i have no internet
left to spend on viewing things.
During the times when netflix is causing a lockout for me, youtube
videos cause latency in game. so while i can't play online with
netflix going at all, i can use youtube while gaming. but during
the height of the problem, even a 480p youtube video will cause
high latency in game.
I have run speed tests and they all say the same thing, everything
is fine. I don't know if it is relevant, but around the time it started
there were a few random connection dropouts over the course of
a week or so. any possible help here would be greatly appreciated.
