I'm changing router, should PN do anything? (Billion BiPAC 7800N)

The Plusnet supplied router that worked fine in my flat for the last couple of years has recently been migrated to my home following a switch from BT to PN to replace a faulty TP Link unit but it really can not cope with the demands of my home (big with lots of thick walls and ceilings).
I've ordered a Billion BiPAC 7800N Dual WAN ADSL2+/Broadband Wireless-N Gigabit Firewall Modem Router from Amazon. Apart from the usual configuration changes I need to make is there anything I need to ask PN to do with regard to line settings/training to get the best out of the new unit?
Advice on best settings for this device from anyone who has one would also be welcome.
TIA,
Stuart

Hi, PN don't need to do anything. Before your switch over to the new one I would suggest doing a disconnect on your current router (if possible) before powering off. That would ensure the exchange knows it's not a line drop.
I've found the default settings work fine on my 7800N
