DSLStats Monitor shows up sync 571 kbps
BTw speed test reads " Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 0.83 Mbps".
All the stats for downstream are pretty well what would be expected. Explanation why this discrepancy exists will be welcome.

As a comparison this is from my connection which more or less matches/explains your numbers
Noise Margin: 9.5 dB
Bandwidth: 888 kbps
Attenuation: 26.4 dB
Except this is my downstream which is way lower/worse than yours
Noise Margin: 6.0 dB
Bandwidth: 3927 kbps
Attenuation: 49.5 dB
One thing to try is the test socket as it just may be something in your house such as a filter giving problems

Are you on 2 or 2+? I'm on 2+ with a ~ 3 dB target margin downstream, so with the attenuation I couldn't have a complaint. You say my upstream margin is high, so what would you reckon it ought to be? Just curious. TBH I'm thinking, if the reduction in up sync (which doesn't tie in with BTw) could have happened when I had some problems needing sorting out via Mwbytes gurus. All was Ok then, but DSLStats data has been time wiped.
Would a gateway hop be useful or a resync? With the controversy over slow downs....?

Normally I would expect 6db or 9dB but with an 888kbps limit because it is interleaved
Gateway hop wouldn't help as it is your sync rate which is the problem
You could ask for a reset to 6dB upstream noise margin

I was referring to the upstream noise margin only - nothing to do with the downstream margin
