The TP-Link Archer C50 arrives tomorrow. I have my plusnet broadband login details. I have never replaced a router before so I am assuming the new router is going to have a page where I can type in this login information. Is this correct?

From a quick Google search it looks to me like the C50 is a router, not a combined modem/router like the Plusnet hubs. If you want to use this you will need a separate modem.
Alternatively you could switch off your Plusnet modem/router wireless and use the C50 as an access point. See the manual. https://www.tp-link.com/uk/home-networking/wifi-router/archer-c50/?utm_medium=select-local
