Re: Hub flashing pink - no internet

I'm also wondering (grateful for advice) whether the reason there isn't a bigger local uproar about the outage is because many nearby houses have gone full fibre rather than fibre to the cabinet only and this no longer passes through that cabinet, so they're not affected?  Is this a possibility and backs up the apparent lack of urgency to fix it?

@Logan72 you are correct, Full fibre connections don't go via the cabinet so will not be affected by the cabinet damage.

As to whether that has an implication on urgency to fix, only Openreach could answer that, and they're not going to...

Superusers are not staff, but they do have a direct line of communication into the business in order to raise issues, concerns and feedback from the community.

Nothing's happening is it?  Photo attached.

Would anyone know what kind of work could be, or have been, happening since 30 nov if this is the situation at the cabinet?

Is there a way of me contacting Openreach to enquire about progress/express my frustration?

Cheers all.

@Logan72 - Hi, I've tried to find out more from my side but I can only see that there is "Dslam Damaged" that we already know and a new ERT of 22/12/23.

Re: Hub flashing pink - no internet

Thanks @James30.

Service now restored.  I saw the cabinet finally being worked on 19/12 and my broadband/internet is back today.

Grateful for advice on process to obtain credits/rebate for the 21 days loss of service.

Thank you.

Fix

That's good news then. The system will process auto compensation for total loss of service to your account 30 days after it's the fault is closed so keep an eye out.
