Hub One or general Broadband issue?

I have been having issues with broadband connection for some months and it is getting beyond a joke. Plusnet say the issue is 'within tolerance' but I don't think so.

 

Several times a day, seemingly at random, my router loses broadband connectivity. Basically all devices 'hang', then the hub one router light goes Orange, flashes, the 'b' symbol comes up and after about 2-3 mins the light goes blue again. Yesterday the light flashed green and orange repeatedly until I reset the router. There is no obvious pattern to the drop outs

 

 

This makes it difficult to work or play games with the router dropping out so often.

 

Has anyone got any suggestions as I am now at the point where I am looking for a new provider
