Just thought I would share something that is being discussed on TBB.
If you are due to get fibre soon and are constantly checking the BT Checker for it to show you can order fibre now, there is an automated process you can use.
There are some webpage monitoring tools -
https://www.followthatpage.com/ and
http://www.thewebwatcher.com/ that constantly track a webpage and will contact you via email when there are any changes.
If you use the BT Checker address and put in your phone number (currently is a dummy 01234567890), you can use one of the above monitoring tools. Here is the BT Checker link:
http://www.dslchecker.bt.com/pls/adsl/ADSLChecker.TelephoneNumberOutput?URL=&SP_NAME=a%20service%20p... You need to change the telephone number in the web link to your current number for this to work, but you can then use one of the webpage monitoring tools above to check for any changes to the page. It saves a lot of time if you are manually checking it yourself on a daily basis.
