How do I access the VPN from my home?

Hi there,
I am attempting to work from home on a once off basis and am on a home value package. I understand that I can do port forwarding to include my VPN address to enable me to access my work emails and system. Does anyone know how I can do this?

There should be no need to setup port forwarding. You need to setup a VPN connection. to do this go to the Control Panel select Network and Sharing and you should find a VPN option.

as itsme says once you've made the VPN connection it should just work.
However if you are using the PlusNet supplied Thomson TG585V7 router and using a PPTP VPN connection ( the normal with the Microsoft VPN client ) then you MAY need to upgrade the router firmware for it to work.
