How are these line stats?

Hi there, was wondering if someone could take a look at my line stats and see if my sync speed is right for them.  I am not complaining at all just curious. Also what is this uncapped upload thing I keep seeing on the forums?  Thanks in advance!

Re: How are these line stats?

your sync is low for the attenuation you have, with a 13db Attenuation you should be able to hit the 20Mb range at least 21Mb on a 6db profile never mind the 3db profile our running I would ask the PN staff to check if something has gone wrong.

Re: How are these line stats?

Your upload is uncapped, your downstream speed seems a little bit low for the attenuation though.

How long have you had the connection for ? If it is still in the "training" period, it could be that your speeds improve over time.

Re: How are these line stats?

Is your router plugged in to an extension or the master socket (where the phone line comes into the house)?

Cheers for the replies!
I have had the connection for 3 or 4 weeks. I think that the training period is over?
The router is plugged into the master socket.

Re: How are these line stats?

The sync is a little lower than I'd expect but I can't really see it causing any issues if I'm being honest.
Your SNR is low at 3.1db so there would be no benefit in resetting your line. I think the speeds look fine.

Re: How are these line stats?

Yea as I said in my OP that I wasn't complaining, just curious.  However when someone says my line should be capable of 2-3Mbits more then you start wanting haha  Cheesy

Re: How are these line stats?

That is true Tongue
We can take a more detailed look at your line but the likelihood of you getting an increase in speeds is quite low since the only changed would could make would be to your SNR Target which is already set at it's lowest. It could be that a pair change would be required to get that increase in speeds, however, BT are unlikely to swap it over.

Re: How are these line stats?

Undecided Would be nice to get the extra speed but if it's out of your hands and BT are likely to not co-operate then I guess I will have to make do with my current sync speed  Tongue
Cheers for the info!
