Higher than normal SNR margin after more line faults

Hi again.
Just when everything had settled down, a couple of weeks ago BT replace a long segment of faulty cable.  When my router eventually reconnected, the SNR margin appears to be set to 12db again and consequently the line speed is low (1500-1660 kbps).  I left the router up for over two weeks without a reboot/reconnect and it was stable with very few FEC errors so I rebooted it a couple of times this morning hoping that the exchange would have reset the SNR margin to something more sensible but the line still came up slow with a 12db SNR margin.
Could the SNR margin be set to a lower level now please so that my download speed is something sensible?  IP profile only giving me a download of 900ish kbps atm
Regards

Hi FarmerGiles,
Sorry for the delayed response.
I've placed a SNR reset on your line, this should complete in the next 4 hours.
Let me know how you get on.
