Higher Upload Speeds

I've been looking at streaming on Twitch lately.
In Call of Duty Black Ops 2 there is an In-Game Livestream option that requires an Upload Bandwidth of 1.5mbps to even start streaming.
On my current package I am only getting half that, roughly 0.700
Is there anything I can do to raise my Upload?

Re: Higher Upload Speeds

The only real option you have (assuming you're on 21CN - Up to 16Mb) is to add Annex M onto your line.
Annex M is only really effective for the shorter lines if I'm honest. I wouldn't generally add Annex M to lines that have an upload speed lower than 1Mb.
Annex M is charged at £12 per month (inc. VAT).

Re: Higher Upload Speeds

What exactly is Annex M?
And what would it do if I connected it to my line?

'Annex M' uses a larger part of the available DSL 'Bandwidth' for upstream (consequently a similar amount less for downstream).  'Normal ADSL2+ is 'Annex A'.
This explains the technical bit: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITU_G.992.5_Annex_M

Assuming this is what I need to do to find out my Sync speeds
http://www.speedtest.btwholesale.com/
I will have to wait until the initial 10 days are over, so it says.
I have run various different speed checkers and they all seem to give different results.
