Interleaving has been disabled yet ping's do not seem to be any lower.
I'm currently on Value and thinking about upgrading to unlimited.

Going to unlimited won't change the ping results - despite what you have been told I will lay odds you are still interleaved

Re: High pings with interleaving disabled

I did create a ticket asking PN to confirm that interleaving has been disabled and they did. Should I ask them to investigate further?

Re: High pings with interleaving disabled

Yes - because all they can tell is what the BT systems tell them and any relation between the BT system and the actual situation is pure chance  Grin

what router are you runing comocon.
if you look at the line stats on your router does it say interleave depth with a value after it or fast.
could all ways try DMT or routerstats to see if interleaving is on or off then you have a pieace of paper with the eveidnce to wave in BTw smug face  Grin

Hiya,
If you look at your traceroute, the first hop to your router seems rather high.
Are you sure that you weren't doing anything with your internet connection at the same time as running that traceroute?

Product Name: TG585 v7
Software Release: 7.4.4.7
I tried DMT but it wouldn't work due to the version of the router firmware. I can't see anything about interleaving in RouterStats.

99ms at the first hop is common in SpeedTouch routers. The connection was idle when I ran the traceroute.

All Speedtouch routers have a high first hop - doesn't actually mean anything

Re: High pings with interleaving disabled

Interleaving is on.
I'll get it turned off for tomorrow morning.  Sorry about that!
