High latency and UDP drops

Over the last few days I have been experiencing high levels of dropping of udp packets (and quite probably tcp as well) which makes DNS resolution when web browsing a matter of chance, together very high latencies.  I assume the two problems are linked.
Just at the moment the service is now practically unusable.
I cannot be the only one experiencing this.  Is anything being done about it?

Re: High latency and UDP drops

can you run some traceroutes please to give us an idea where the packetloss is happening?

I'm surprised Bob hasn't spotted this,  probably because Feedback isn't the right Board.

Re: High latency and UDP drops

I managed to resolve the problem by switching off the router and then reconnecting, so as to get a new IP address.

Re: High latency and UDP drops

I don't like the times on some of the first hops to your router - you're on wireless aren't you?
