What are your speeds like? Have you been through any of the checks at https://faults.plus.net ?

I am really shocked that the FTTC service comes with such a high latency where as most people i see posting on forums with either Plusnet or BT have 10ms on average
Where as ADSL/ADSL2+ and Cable customers get 10ms...

One of the Counter Strike servers I play on a lot, is 38ms where as before it was 22, a friend of mine on virgin gets 18ms
Battlefield 3 i used to have 17ms, now its 40ms
A traceroute always shows this around 35-40ms sometimes more, can the PlusNet network not handle the amount of subscribers it has?
35 ms 36 ms 46 ms lo0-central10.ptw-ag02.plus.net [195.166.128.196]
Thanks
Just to add, my connect cannot even stream 1080 youtube or twitch content either, I can only successfully get the 720 content

Are you using a wired or wireless connection? Also, interleaving is off on your line.

My PC is only ever wired, doesn't have a wireless adapter
So I just rebooted my router and did the famous speedtest, my connection has gone from 32mbit down (speed check said 47mbit, but i need a copper line for that!) to 28mbit down and now 11mbit down
However I have to say that is the lowest ping I have ever seen, usually its 38ms
So now just need to keep this
Pinging bbc.co.uk [212.58.251.195] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 212.58.251.195: bytes=32 time=17ms TTL=120
Reply from 212.58.251.195: bytes=32 time=16ms TTL=120
Reply from 212.58.251.195: bytes=32 time=16ms TTL=120
Reply from 212.58.251.195: bytes=32 time=16ms TTL=120
Ping statistics for 212.58.251.195:
Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss),
Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 16ms, Maximum = 17ms, Average = 16ms
and get my 32mbit back

Your ping is certainly lower, this could also be down to how busy the speed test server is when you're running this.
If your speed thorughput continues to change I'd suggest raising a fault - http://faults.plus.net and we'll get that looked into.
I'd also suggest refraining from doing too many reboots of your router as this could cause further issues.
