Hi Ping

Hi I am wondering if it possible to have something done to improve my ping to gaming servers.  Servers that I am able to ping with my adsl service around 10ms I am getting ~40 with my firbre.
I can only assume interleaving or something is on.
Many thanks
John

Re: Hi Ping

Can you post a ping or traceroute to the gaming server? What are your pings like to bbc.co.uk ?

This is my ping to the bbc

This is to one the best server in bf4 ping wise

These are roughly double what my adsl service is getting and double what my friends in the north east of England get on fibre.
I am assuming I have interlacing or something on my line.

These are my figures to the same IP Addresses, how ever I'm not a gamer and find my ping ok.

Re: Hi Ping

Hi Kevin
Thanks for the reply.  My pings are not that bad but more or less double what I expected from 76 meg down and 18 up service.  As I said my friends on fibre with karoo in Hull and one with bt in Scarborough are more or less half of what I am getting.
